Our refurbishing projects
We've been taking Teletype machines in need of refurbishment, restoring them to full operation, and building new steampunk-style cases which show off the elaborate mechanisms. We do this to engender a sense of wonder at these strange and wonderful mechanisms, which in their day were hidden inside opaque cases.

Our first project, a Teletype Model 15, the classic workhorse introduced in 1931. This is the most reliable of the early teletype machines. About 200,000 units were built, and thousands still exist. |
