Our other work leads us to need to understand how complex mechanical devices can be made reliable. To this end, we've worked with these complex, yet quite reliable, messaging machines. As an exercise in steampunk technology, we are bringing text messaging into the Victorian era. We send and receive text messages on the machine shown below.

Our next appearance will be at the Clockwork Alchemy Steampunk Convention, May 25-28, 2012 at the DoubleTree Hotel in San Jose.

Our machinery was at the Nova Albion Steampunk Exhibition in Emeryville, CA, in March, 2010,at Maker Faire in San Mateo, California in May, 2010, and the Wild Wild East Steampunk Exhibition in March, 2011.
