The Aetheric Communications Company is our effort to bring text messaging to the Victorian era.

Our other work leads us to need to understand how complex mechanical devices can be made reliable. To this end, we've worked with these complex, yet quite reliable, messaging machines. As an exercise in steampunk technology, we are bringing text messaging into the Victorian era. We receive text messages on the machine shown below.

Our machinery will be at the Steampunk Exhibition in Emeryville, CA, in March, 2010.
